Avishikta's pov

Ahhhhhhh Who the fuck is calling me now.

Daksh is calling...

I picked it up.

"THIS BETTER BE IMPORTANT DAKSH" I shouted at the phone.

He sighed and said.

"It was Vikram Khurana" He said and I could feel my heart pounding. My whole body felt numb. Vikram Khurana the father of My best friend or should I say My only friend. The father left her daughter when she was just 8 years old. The father who tried to rape her daughter. The father who killed her mother. The father who stole her smile. I came out of my thoughts when he continued.

"He has something to do with Mr Rathore," Daksh said.

"where is he?" I asked in a low tone.

"We've no idea, we need to protect Aastha he can hurt her again," He said with a concerned voice.

Daksh has always treated Aastha and me like his younger sister and Aastha is his baby, he'll do anything for her. Aastha has no family, she started living with me when she was 9 and she moved out to her apartment when she was 18. She met Daksh at that time and since then he has always treated her like his sister. My family & Daksh's family have always considered Aastha as their own.

"Daksh, what are you doing?" I asked

"hein? What of course I'm sleeping Shikta" he replied in a duh tone.

"Meet me outside Aastha's flat," I said

"now?" he asked like a kid who doesn't want to go to school.

Yes, Mr Daksh Shrama or do you want your termination letter?" I said in my bossy tone.

"You know I don't love you" He whined.

"Go get ready, asshole," I said and cut the call.

I got up from my bed, wore a comfortable outfit, paired it with shoes, took my keys and went downstairs.

Everyone must be sleeping. I went to the kitchen took a sticky note and wrote

"I'm going to meet Aastha, I'll have my lunch with her and I'll return in the evening.

I put it on the fridge and went to the hall. Took the house keys and opened the door slowly, My brother would kill me if he got to know about this but who cares I'm his pretty little sister huh? Don't talk to yourself you idiot just go out fast. Oh, talking to myself is fun you bitch. Shut up I'm not a bitch. Stop talking beta. I went outside and locked the door took my car and yes phewwwwwwwwwww.

I AM COMING BESTIE.

I reached her house after 20 minutes. Daksh was checking his phone leaning on his car door. I ran towards him.

"DAKSHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I jumped on him. I stumbled but yes he balanced.

"WHY TF ARE YOU SCREAMING AT THIS TIME" He yelled at me.

" Fuck you," I said with a pout.

"What's your plan?" He asked me raising his eyebrows.

"I never noticed but your eyebrows are good bro, is this real or make-up " I asked with a frown touching his eyebrows.

"ARE YOU FOR REAL SHIKTA, IT'S 3 IN THE MORNING" He whispered gritting his teeth.

"Okay calm down, We're going to watch the sunrise, and then we'll have breakfast, and then we'll go for um how about the movie?" I said with excitement and he looked at me with a blank expression.

"fine," he said with a sigh.

"fine? Just fine? I gave you such a good plan." I asked holding his ear and twisting it.

"ah, it hurts, thank you, you're the best, I'm so grateful to have you in my life," He said holding his ear.

"Good let's call her" I said and went inside the building.  He followed me. We Knocked on the door but no answer. Daksh called her and put his phone on speaker.

"WHY THE HELL YOU ARE CALLING ME AT THIS TIME" She yelled at him.

"Tum dono ko main hi milta hoon kya chillane k liye?" he whispered to me.

"HELLO, DAKSH, DUDE ARE YOU THERE?" Aastha shouted.

"Open your door," I said like a kid who's going to park.

"I'm not interested in your stupid pranks," she said and cut the call. She called again.

"wait what are you both doing together?" She asked being all confused.

"WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU, OPEN THE DOOR NAHI TOH MAIN TOD DUNGA BATA RAHA HOON" Daksh yelled at her.

"Don't shout you idiot, pure building ko nahi jagana hai" I whispered. 

Aastha opened the door, and we went inside and sat on the sofa.

"Go get ready," I said she looked at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"What? We are not going to kidnap you go get ready" Daksh said standing up and pushing her into her bedroom. She came after 10 minutes.

"You're overdressed," Daksh said looking at her.

"Did I ask your opinion?" she said furiously.

"Calm down, we'll be late let's go" I said and dragged her out of her apartment.

"I'll drive," I said going towards my car and they followed me. Aastha sat on the passenger seat and Daksh sat on the back seat. It took us 25 minutes to reach there we watched the sunrise, and we sat there for hours and went for breakfast. We went to our favourite place. We ordered coffee, avocado toast, idli, dosa and fruit salad.

"Aastha, we need to tell you something," Daksh said grabbing our attention.

"what happened? Why are you acting so serious all of a sudden?" she said while sipping her coffee.

"Vikram Khurana is here," I said glancing at her.

"WHAT?" She asked us with wide eyes.

I sighed.

"We'll deal with this, this time don't worry and don't spoil your mood because of that person," I said squeezing her hand and she nodded.

We had our breakfast and had a little change in plan so we went to Daksh's apartment and played games. We had our lunch. Aastha switched off her phone and passed out on the bed, Daksh switched off his phone threw it on the couch, and went to another room. I put it on DND and slept while hugging Aastha. I missed her so much. We need rest bitches and no work on weekends. I slept as soon as my head hit the pillow.

"SHIKU WAKE UP" Aastha shouted for the 100th time.

"let me sleep babe" I said covering my face with a pillow.

"SHIKTA IT'S 7 IN THE EVENING AND THERE ARA 20 MISSED CALLS FROM AARAV BHAI"

I sat with a jerk. She showed me her phone. I took my phone and there were texts from my whole family. 10 missed calls from Papa and 30 from Bhai. I hope everything is fine at home. I ran outside, and Daksh was watching TV.

"I NEED TO GO" My heart was beating fast. He looked at me with concern.

"Everything is okay, right?" He asked.

"I don't know," I said

"wait I am coming with you" He said

"I'll go, Daksh, you stay here, I'll let you know If it's urgent, don't worry," Aastha said and we drove towards my home.

We reached home after 30 minutes, We rushed inside the house. Luckily the door was open. What are Rathores doing here, Bhai ran towards me and hugged me. He broke the hug and checked My hands and face.

"Tu thik hai?" He asked breathing heavily

"I'm okay bhai, what happened," I asked looking at everyone.

"Where were you both, I went to Aastha's apartment but you weren't there?" Bhai asked looking at Aastha.

"We went to Daksh's house," I said in a low tone.

"You could have informed me beta, we were so tensed here," Papa said cupping my cheeks and kissing on my temple.

"I'm sorry, but I wrote that I'll return in the evening," I said looking towards Mom.

"It's okay, calm down, everything is fine" Mom said assuring me.

I looked towards everyone and they were looking at me in relief. I touched the feet of elders and Aastha did the same. I hugged Naina Bhabi, Ansh Bhai, Aniket, and slapped Adi on his shoulder and gave a smile to Raj.

"This is My best friend Aastha" I introduced her to everyone. 

"You all arranged a dinner party without, me, so bad," I said to Maa.

"They are here to see you," Papa said.

"Hein? What? What are you saying, papa?" I giggled. They came from that villa to see me. My dad has gone mad or what.

"For marriage" Maa added.

My jaw touched the ground.

Abhiraj's pov

She had no idea about it. Shit, she is shaking so badly.

"Calm down bachhe, Go to your room and get fresh, we're not going anywhere" Dadi said softly.

She went towards her room with her best friend.

"Ashi, Naina go check on her," Priti Aunty said and they went behind her. We were talking and they came after 15 minutes.

My eyes were lost in her eyes. If Sunshine is a person then it'd be her. Her eyes searched for mine and she was looking at me with the same intensity. Our eyes were searching for it's home. She's walking down and my heart is beating faster. I've never seen someone look so simple yet so beautiful. She looks like a daisy, her aura is all daylight and pure. She was wearing a white dress, silver bangles and silver earrings, her hair was in a low bun. She walked towards us and she was nervous yet she maintained a smile on her face, the smile that can make your heart feel at ease. The smile that feels like sunshine to my midnight rain. The smile that pulls me towards her. The damn smile which is making me fall for her.

Sundar hai na?" Ani asked, I was still drowned in her beauty.

"Had se jyada," I said looking at her.

I heard all of them laughing. I looked here and there all embarrassed. I sighed and looked down.

"idhar baitho beta mere paas" Maa said and she sat beside her.

"I know you got to know it right now, but don't be nervous, no one will force you, you're my daughter too, I don't care if it's a yes or no from your side, I'll still love you the same and we will respect your decision," Maa said caressing her cheeks and she smiled softly.

She got comfortable around everyone, she was talking, and laughing and I was just admiring the queen sitting in front of me.

"You both can talk," Ansh bhai said looking at me and her.

I looked at her, and she was looking at me, I was searching for an answer and she was doing the same.

"oh my god, you guys at least know each other, don't be so nervous, think about the people who don't even know each other" Ashi Bhabi said shaking his head.

Now I'm feeling more nervous.

"You're making them more nervous Ashu" Aarav Bhai said.

"calm down babies, go talk to each other as long as you want, Shikta take him to the garden," Naina Bhabi said and she nodded. 

We went towards the garden. We sat down on the bench. She was fidgeting with her fingers.

"I had no idea that you weren't aware of all this," I said breaking the silence.

"It's okay," she said softly.

"Avishikta Malhotra getting nervous, breaking news, isn't it?" I said with a smirk and wiggling my eyebrows.

"Abhiraj Rathore got bitten by a girl so badly that he's not able to walk, how does that sound Mr Rathore?" she said in the tone and finally looked at me.

We looked at each other and burst into laughter at the same time.

"You want to get married or is it because of family pressure?" She asked staring at the sky.

"I've been ignoring this topic, but I guess I'm ready to give it a try," I said leaning on the bench still looking at her.

"It's not mathematics, that you'll follow the trial and error method" She said and chuckled softly.

"I had a terrible incident in the past, it'll take me some time to trust and love, I don't even know if I'll be able to love someone," I said looking at the stars.

"If you never try you never know, maybe you haven't found that person yet, for whom you'll come out of your comfort zone and you'll try all those things from which you're running away, you know not everybody is worthy of your efforts," She said and looked towards me.

"Are you ready for? marriage?" I asked my eyes still stuck on the sky.

" I guess I am, to share my life with someone,  to speak my heart out without any fear, knowing that the person who's with you will not run away from you even if you'll show him your worst side, to share my morning coffee with someone, everyone needs someone to hold onto, someone who'll give you 1000 reasons to live, not exist. I'm ready, it's just that everything happened so suddenly that I couldn't process but I don't have any problem with marriage" she said and I looked towards her.

"You talk like a book," I said staring deep into her eyes.

"Are you ready to read all its pages with all your heart Mr Rathore?" She asked looking into my eyes.

"I'm ready to drown in the ocean of your words, and I'm ready to lose myself in your pages," I said smiling at her softly.

"Don't worry, I'll save you" She said smiling back.

It wasn't just an exchange of words but it held so much meaning in it. She said everything that I needed to hear. I'm ready to make an effort if it's her.

"I'm not an easy guy, I'm not always a gentleman, and I kill people, you've just seen those sides that I showed you, will you accept all my sides in the same way?" I asked and looked down.

She stood up and held my chin making me look towards her.

"I don't want My Man to bow down to anyone, except his family, and you know your eyes talk a lot, they hold so many emotions and I'm ready to accept it with all my heart and soul." She cupped my face and pecked my forehead. She sat down beside me. We were staring at the sky, We were staring at the same stars that were smiling at us.

"Raj," She looked towards me.

"Yes Daisy," I said looking towards her.

"I'll kill your best friend" she whispered. I looked at her raising my eyebrow and she eyed me towards my left.

I looked towards my left and here My best friend was looking at us with a smirk.

"Don't tell me you heard everything" I looked at him with a frown.

"Hell no, Choti Maa asked me to check on you guys, so can I call this devil bhabi or not?" He asked me.

"You know I'll kill you," She said pointing to her fingers in his chest.

"I'd love to see that," he said making her more annoying.

"Guys, come everyone is waiting" Aastha came running and said.

"chalein?" she looked at me and then at her.

"ji chaliye" Adi said grinning at her.

"weirdo" she muttered

"I heard it," Adi said walking behind her.

"Good, you should be aware of some universal facts." She flipped her hair and went inside. We went inside all of them were looking at us with some hope.

I looked at her, she winked at me held my hand and said

"Maa mere hone wale pati k muh mitha karaye" 

A smile mad its way to my face.

Everyone's eyes spark with love and happiness. They hugged each other and then came to us and showered us with their love and blessings.
